JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Set-Up/Tear Down: A variety of volunteers are needed Wed-Mon. to
assist with laying out the site, directing the set up of tents, chairs and
tables, and the physical execution of the festival.
Information Booth: Volunteers will: direct other volunteers where
they are signed up to work, help answer questions from festival goers, sell
t-shirts and drinks and other things that may come up.
Trash pick up: Use golf cart to drive around site and collect full
bags and put new bags into trash boxes.
Artist Support: Volunteers may be asked to sit in an artist booth so
they can go eat or use the restroom. They may help distribute things to or
pick things up from artists. These volunteers will be available in the event
an artist needs assistance in other ways. When artists are setting up their
tents or tearing down, they sometimes need help from these volunteers.
Artist Shuttle: These volunteers stay with the shuttle vans to
transport artists to and from their cars when needed, all during the
festival.
Concessions: Volunteers are needed to help keep the concessions area
clean, tables wiped off, assist food vendors if necessary, etc...
Other: If necessary, volunteers may be asked to help with other areas
as the need arises. |
